What are clean formulas/products?
Did you know that the FDA bans only 13 harmful chemicals, while the EU bans 1,400? Clean products are free from harmful chemicals and adhere to strict guidelines in the development process, ensuring the use of natural, safe, and gentle ingredients. We develop solution-driven, multi-use products created with clean ingredients, verified and tested by the EWG and third-party labs. Every product undergoes wear testing on a range of skin types and product colors to ensure safety and inclusion.
While there's a lot of talk about "clean" products out there, many fall short, often containing harmful chemicals. At ITP, we go beyond the hype, ensuring our products are verified.
What is a sustainable product?
Let's be clear – there is no such thing as a completely sustainable product. All products have a negative impact on the earth, measured by their Product Environmental Footprint (PEF). The good news is that we go above and beyond to minimize our impact:
- We use MMCF, recycled, and/or recyclable packaging.
- Our paper products are FSC-certified.
- Products are made and assembled in the US to reduce the carbon footprint.
- All ink used is soy-based.
- Packaging padding consists of 2nd or 3rd life materials, varying from package to package.
Recap: In general, humans require goods, and unfortunately, these items necessitate a footprint to be created. When you purchase products from ITP, you should feel good knowing that intense thought, research, and validation went into them, ensuring that you are using clean products in more responsibly created packaging.

- Responsibly created packaging.
- Multi-use product for less waste and a smaller carbon footprint.
