July 15: Safer Beauty Day of Action - Everyone Deserves Safer Beauty

At ITP Beauty, we believe everyone deserves safer beauty products they can trust. That’s why on July 15, we’re joining Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP), Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, and beauty brands across the industry for Safer Beauty Day of Action—a movement focused on creating a safer, more transparent future for cosmetics.

For years, consumers have asked for more clarity around what’s inside their skincare and beauty products. The Safer Beauty Bill Package supports stronger cosmetics safety standards, greater ingredient transparency, protections for salon workers, and improved accountability throughout the beauty supply chain.

This work is especially important because not all communities are impacted equally by gaps in beauty safety standards. Black women are often disproportionately exposed to potentially harmful ingredients through beauty and personal care products, including products marketed specifically toward Black consumers such as hair relaxers, straightening treatments, and other personal care products. Addressing these disparities is an important step toward creating a beauty industry that prioritizes safety and transparency for everyone.

At ITP Beauty, our mission has always been rooted in creating clean beauty products without compromising performance. As an EWG-Verified Clean brand, we believe consumers should have access to skincare made with transparency, thoughtful formulation, and a commitment to better standards.

Safer beauty isn’t just a trend—it’s about creating a future where everyone can make informed choices about the products they use every day.
